3-ingredient Gingerbread Truffles πŸŽ„

It’s time!! Christmas is less than a month away. AMAZING. I love Christmas and everything that comes with it. Listening to Christmas music, baking Christmas goodies, Christmas markets, Christmas food… basically everything Christmas. πŸ˜‹

What better way to kick off the most wonderful time of the year than baking something Christmas-y? I’ve been in the holiday spirit for a while now but it’s officially Christmas now that I’ve started the baking. I bought some caramel-y… gingerbread-y biscuits while grocery shopping today and I was in the mood to make something simple yet delicious so I ended up making these truffles with only three ingredients! I’ve made truffles before so I didn’t follow any recipe but they turned out surprisingly good so here’s how I made themπŸ‘‡πŸΌ.

*I didn’t use exact measurements because it all depends on how you like your truffles. But here’s what I used to make 8 medium sized pieces. I recommend using more chocolate if you want to coat the entire truffle;)

100g cookies/biscuits

85g cream cheese

70g dark chocolate

This recipe involves no baking and is as simple as it gets! Here’s how:

  1. Crush the biscuits until it’s powdery
  2. Add the cream cheese for a smooth mixture
  3. Shape and roll into the desired form, then chill in the fridge
  4. Meanwhile, melt the chocolate
  5. Coat the truffles with the chocolate and place them back into the fridge until firm

VoilΓ !

I love how these turned out, and they are super fun to play around with. Using gingerbread flavored biscuits just make them more festive but I’ve made truffles with Oreos before as well and they turned out great! You can coat these with all sorts of stuff as well like:

  • Nuts
  • Crushed candy cane
  • Milk/white chocolate
  • Cocoa powder
  • Coconut
  • Dried berries

This dessert is suuuper easy to make and sooo good to eat. Absolutely perfect for the holidays too! It’s a delicious present and a great snack to bring to any party:)
