Banana Pancakes πŸ₯ž

I love making pancakes for breakfast so I try out different recipes every now and then. And this recipe is the easiest most healthiest pancake recipe I’ve ever made! No joke, and the best part is that it only has 3 ingredients. THREE!

This instantly became one of my favorite breakfasts – and probably why breakfast became my favorite meal of the day (next to dessert of course). There are many many versions of banana pancakes. Buzzfeed’s recipe has only 2 ingredients, bananas and eggs (+cinnamon). I find that one too eggy; it almost tasted like omelet to me. That’s how I ended up making this version instead. (I’m sure this recipe already exists somewhere in the internet but I’ll share it anyway.)

1 banana*

1 egg

1dl oats

baking powder

* the browner the banana, the better. πŸ˜‚ The banana acts as the sweeter, so greenish yellow ones aren’t the best ones for this recipe.

Let’s get cookin’!

All you have to do is put everything in a blender and mix until it’s smooth, and it’s ready to be cooked!

Just blend & cook… then voilΓ !

A hearty & super yummy breakfast in 5 minutes!

Processed with VSCO with hb2 preset
I topped mine with homemade raspberry jam on top of plain natural yoghurt:)

I added cinnamon & baking powder to the batter!

This recipe is also extremely versatile so you can add anything & everything you want to it. Here are a few examples of my personal favorites:

– cinnamon

– baking powder (for fluffy pancakes)

– chopped nuts

– vanilla

– chocolate chips<3

– blueberries (all berries are gooood)

– cocoa powder

– shredded coconut

….to name a few; the possibilities are endless with this one! πŸ˜‚
